Master Velvet (She/Her) is a Leatherwoman whose diverse life experiences allow her to feel at home everywhere from the boardroom to the opera to the dungeon. Curiosity delights her and others’ contributions excite her, but seeing those around her soar really sends her to the moon. Master Velvet is the 2024 Heartland Person of Leather, serves as founder and leader of the Leftorium Forum, is a mentor and admin of the Dallas Mentors Program, and is part of the Texas Leather Generation Project. Passionate about sharing her knowledge with others, she believes in taking a holistic approach to BDSM that addresses the needs of the whole self and not just one’s kinky desires. Four years ago, she proudly collared her feisty and devoted (if sometimes incorrigible) slave Todd, who continues to bring her joy and laughter daily.
Little Squirt is a high-femme they/them, pastel punk, little pink switch-y bitch. They are the current reigning Northwest Person of Leather 2024 and the previous Washington State Mx. Leather 2023. A kinkster since 2017 and leather dyke since 2018, Squirt is an avid advocate for de-stigmatizing sexual exploration. Through the use of social media, they’ve been able to educate the general vanilla public about sex work, the leather community, and safe kink practices. Within the community, Squirt devotes their time to event producing, fundraising, educating, and carving out spaces for trans and non-binary leatherfolk. They are the creator and co-host of the W.E.T. Mosh in collaboration with SEA-PAH and the Trans and Non-Binary Leather Social in Seattle. Squirt is the baby of the Seattle House of Shenanigans and proudly stands with their house’s principles of elevating marginalized groups in leather and #KeepKinkSilly.
Kippy is a Denver native, born and rise. a queer, autistic, leather pup and is 2024 Rocky Mountain Person of Leather. He is best described as an emotional support pet! Kippy is the co-owner of Pets Play House, as well as a co-host for the Switch It Up! discussion group. Kippy has a passion for all things pet play and enjoys sharing this passion with others whether teaching at, attending, or hosting events. Kippy believes it is vital to offer kink education in avenues that feel more comfortable and accessible to new people, such as 18+ nerd cons. No matter what, Kippy is happy to lend an ear or tell you a joke. If he is not helping, he is learning. Kippy is always looking for ways to make the community more accessible and inclusive and is dedicated to fostering connection and joy in those around him.
Jett Forte (he/him, she/her) is a polyamorous androgyne person under the non-binary umbrella and leader in the leather and kink communities. With years of kink experience and a lion persona, Jett has a particular passion for impact play, sensory play, bondage, and critter play. As the current Missouri and Midwest Person of Leather, Jett is honored to represent the leather community and champion the values of authenticity, inclusivity, and growth. Her journey as a titleholder reflects a deep commitment to learning, advocating, and building bridges within the community. Outside of her leather work, Jett is a proud queer nerd who enjoys gaming, cosmic horror, and filling her home with plants and queer art. Whether connecting with their online pack of pups or engaging with the traditions and future of leather culture, Jett brings a unique blend of passion, creativity, and dedication to everything she does.
NerdyPrinncess (she/her) is from California. She's a Black, Latine, Indigenous, disabled, queer, polyamorous, neurodivergent, switch, leatherwoman. She's owned & collared by PeterHeid & Daddy to ritz_srekcarc. Nerdyprinncess is Southwest Person of Leather 2024, a member of the E.X.I.L.E.S, The Council of Indigenous Leather. Passionate about service she volunteers at many events supporting education and community. She co-facilitates the "unconference" KinkyThings & Right of the Slash. Nerdy values education in the community and started teaching with Central Coast Kink long ago. She's an experienced demo bottom and loves teaching. Some events she's taught at include, Threshold’s Kinky Ted Talks, LA Grue, KinkyThings, Right of the slash, Fresno’s TGIF and VERB. She is deeply committed to being inclusive & building community through education. She loves needles and hooks, is a very heavy bottom & a sadistic top! Jace The Caveat is your NEPOL 2024 - a multifaceted leather Dom/switch Onyx Mid-Atlantic member and mentor to two brats. He is a musician who writes music about his life and leather community. Jace’s leather journey started with Maso Mutt and Bob - in a Philly leather bar, The Bike Stop. In LA, he first joined Onyx SoCal-Southwest to serve and learn more about Leather. In fundraising, donation drives, performances, pride parades, and “boots-to-fruit” raffle ticket sales, Jace found acceptance, family and a place to be himself. He teaches Solitude+, a class he created after mania & hospitalization during the pandemic. He believes his story is his best tool to advocate, and the scars he's earned can heal our collective wounds, which creates space for joy.
