By the way… did you know that one of the best ways you can help South Plains continue to bring you an incredible event every year is to stay in the host hotel? The most important leverage we have with the host hotel to get the best room rates, prices and loyalty is through the number of rooms we book. So, help us help you – book your room early and stay in the host hotel!! (Besides, you’ll save time and avoid Dallas road rage plus have more fun – we promise!) See the Hotel page for more details.

South Plains Virgins

South Plains Loves Virgins…

Yes, we do! We love first-timers, people either new to BDSM and leather or just new to South Plains, and we always welcome them into the South Plains family. While we always get a good numbers of new family members each year, for 2018 we want all you South Plains veterans to reach out and bring a South Plains virgin, or two, or three – hell, bring a bunch – with you. To encourage participation here’s what we’ll do:

For each virgin you bring who is registered for South Plains, your name will be entered into a drawing for a South Plains 2019 event package, play party package, and two nights at the Doubletree (a value of $625). One virgin = 1 chance to win – 10 virgins = 10 chances to win! This is how it works:

  1. At registration, you will be given a 3 x 5 card on which you will write the legal names(s) and email addresses of your virgins. (You must be registered for South Plains yourself in order to claim credit for your virgin.)
  2. Our friendly Registration Staff will check the registration list, and you will be given a ticket for each registered virgin you brought.
  3. Write your scene name, legal name and email address on each ticket and deposit them in the South Plains 2019 Package jar.
  4. The drawing will be held at Sunday Brunch and, while you don’t have to be present to win, why not have brunch with us and enjoy the excitement!

So help us let’s get some new blood to South Plains, lots of it! Spread the word about South Plains and show the virgins why so many people come home every year. And, you can tell your South Plains virgins that they don’t have to worry – there will be no sacrifices. Unless they ask nicely.

South Plains Cruise and Contest Emcees

We are very excited to have Thib and slave Elizabeth back as our emcees for the Friday night Cruise and Saturday’s International Master/slave Contest.

Thib Guicherd-Callin is an entertainer in (or is it entertainment for?) the leather community. A French native based in San Jose, California, he stumbled into kink in 2001 after mistaking the Folsom Street Fair for an arts and crafts fair. A two-time IML emcee, two-time IML roastmaster, and zero-time IML, Thib has also emceed ILSb-ICBB, "Seduction" at IMsL, Iowa Leather Weekend, and (unfortunately) many more. He is thrilled to return to Dallas for a second International Master/slave contest at South Plains Leatherfest. Thib is the resident roastmaster at Mr. Chicago Leather, and his roast comedy has been tolerated at IMsL, ILSb-ICBB, Mr. San Francisco Leather, Mr. Los Angeles Leather, Tri-State Leather, and (alas!) numerous other events. He serves as treasurer of the Santa Clara County Leather Association and producer of Mr. and Ms. Santa Clara County Leather, in San Jose.

Since 2007 elizabeth has been first and foremost Master Todd’s slave and in his service functions as his minion, sidekick, and jester. She is honored to have served as the Southwest slave 2013. In 2012 she founded the Austin girls of Leather (AgoL) and serves as the club leader. She is Master’s level counselor who specializes in end of life and grief work. She advocates for LGBTQIA+ rights via presentations in both vanilla and kink settings and through her page Kinky Queer and Patenting on Facebook. She serves the larger Leather community through teaching locally and around the country and as a volunteer correspondent for Leatherati.com. More information about her Master’s household can be found at housekramobone.com.

South Plains Café

What better way is there to come home to family and friends than to share a meal with them? South Plains is giving attendees an opportunity to do just that by offering a buffet lunch on Saturday at the South Plains Café. Open from 12:30-2:00 Saturday, the buffet will offer selections for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. There's no formal program -- just a time to visit with family and friends over a lunch that isn't handed to you from a drive-through window! And at the South Plains Cafe, you can do good while eating well!! Café tables are available for sponsorships and the money raised through the sponsored tables goes directly into the International Master/slave travel fund. Café table sponsorship information may be found on our sponsors page. The Café usually sells out so purchase your tickets early!

Traditional Sunday Brunch

Join your South Plains family at our Traditional Sunday Brunch. Tickets are only 30.00 and are available through on-line registration.

Brunch Keynote Speaker – tomo

tomo identifies as a butch leatherdyke and is honored to be the slave of Ms Rhonda. She serves with her Master as International Master and slave 2016 and Northwest Master and slave 2015. tomo is a Producer of Northwest Leather Celebration, the Northwest Master slave Contest and the Northwest Bootblack Contest. tomo has presented classes, served as a judge, keynote speaker, and emcee at local and national events for over two decades. She was a Producer of International Ms Leather Weekend and a founding member of the Dyke Uniform Corps. tomo is the Director of MAsT: Sacramento and a member of MAsT: San Francisco, Queer Leather Association Sacramento, and The Exiles.
